🏗️ This course helps students learn helpful beginning commands in Spanish that they can use right way and engage their bodies in the process! 🗣️ This is not a lecture-based class. Students listen, watch, repeat, play, and are invited to perform with their puppets! 📖 Students enjoy a simple book that reinforces the words we are learning and provides a meaningful, fun connection to use in real life. 🧑🏻🏫In this course, students receive support from an attentive, encouraging, experienced teacher as they practice their language skills. The teacher provides individual feedback on students' submitted videos and worksheets. Commands included this course are: sit, stand, walk, run, open the door, close the door, open the window, close the window, open the book, and close the book.
Learning Goals
Students will perform action of commands in Spanish.
Students will say actions in Spanish when prompted.

Parental Guidance
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a short Kahoot quiz as a simple assessment. They do not need to make a Kahoot account to participate.
Supply List
Learners will be provided with a copy of the book from Lesson 2, class notes, worksheets (two designed for younger learners, two designed for older learners), and playing cards for extra practice.

I received a minor in the Spanish language with my bachelor's degree (2011). Later, I went on to complete the seven-week level 5 Spanish course at Roca Blanca Spanish School in Cacalotepec, Mexico (2018). I have taught group Spanish classes to a variety of ages ranging from preschool through high school over a period of more than eight years, seven years of which have been online. Additionally, I have been raising my children primarily in Spanish since 2016.
