Learning Needs
This workshop supports diverse learners by using visual, verbal, and hands-on activities. Mindfulness techniques can be adapted to fit individual needs, helping all kids manage emotions, stay focused, and feel confident in their abilities.
Parental Guidance
There is light movement/stretches in this class. It's not a workout, it's only to bring awareness to the body. Students will need an open space, but if space is limited, movement can be done in a seat. There will be no rigorous movement, so footwear isn't required, students might like to have a water bottle handy, but it's not necessary. No stretching is needed before hand, the movement will be light stretching in nature. If students are overly flexible, there is the chance of a strained muscle if they go too far. Parents might want to be present to make sure their child doesn't over stretch.
