During this class I will teach students how to build and modify some intermediate level formulas and functions in Microsoft Excel. Learning topics include: PMT, HLookup, VLookup, Subtotal, Concatenate, Text to Columns, and Consolidate Upon enrollment, students will gain access to Excel learning files and the lesson presentation. During class, I will explain each formula/function, provide a demonstration, then provide guidance and support as students try them out on their own. Students will need access to Microsof Excel (any version 2010 or newer) and they should know the basics of Excel: opening, closing, saving, identifying colunms, rows and cells, selecting a range of data and building/modifying basic formulas and functions.

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet developed by Microsoft for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. It features calculation or computation capabilities, graphing tools, and pivot tables. Excel is part of the Microsoft Office suite of software.
