Beginner - Advanced Level
Class Experience: In this class, learners will explore mathematics through an interactive and engaging approach. Here's what parents and learners can expect: What Will Be Taught? -Whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages. -Ratios, proportions, and real-world applications. -Geometry basics: shapes, angles, and measurements. -Data analysis: mean, median, mode, and charts. -Introduction to algebra and solving basic equations. Topics Covered: Over the course of 8 weeks, we will systematically cover topics aligned with Grade 6 learning objectives. Each week will focus on a specific area of math, ensuring concepts are learned in depth. Class Structure: Duration: 8 weeks, with 2 lessons per week (45–60 minutes each). Class Format: A blend of live lectures, collaborative discussions, hands-on problem-solving, and interactive activities. Teaching Style: -My teaching style is dynamic, supportive, and student-centered. I combine structured lessons with flexibility to adapt to the needs of individual learners. I use: -Visual aids such as slides and diagrams. -Gamified learning tools to make math fun and engaging. -Guided problem-solving sessions to promote critical thinking. -Real-world examples to connect math to everyday life. Learner Interaction: Interaction is at the heart of this class! Students will have opportunities to: -Participate in group discussions and collaborative problem-solving. -Ask questions during live sessions for clarification. -Engage in math games and interactive activities designed to reinforce learning. -Receive personalized feedback on assignments and assessments. Materials Used: -All materials (slides, worksheets, and resources) will be provided. -Learners may need access to a calculator, a notebook, and writing tools. -By the end of this class, learners will not only master essential Grade 6 math concepts but also develop problem-solving strategies, improve their confidence, and be well-prepared for future math challenges.
