In this class, students will focus on improving their English skills through a mix of grammar, vocabulary building, writing, and speaking practice. Topics covered will include sentence structure, punctuation, reading comprehension, and conversational English, tailored to each student's level. The class will be structured around interactive activities, including short lectures, guided discussions, and hands-on exercises. I use a supportive, student-centred teaching style, encouraging active participation and individual expression. Learners will engage with me through live discussions, interactive games, and collaborative exercises. I aim to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment where students can practice and ask questions freely, while building confidence in their English abilities.
Learning Goals
Improve Writing Skills: Students will learn how to construct clear and well-organised sentences and paragraphs, focusing on grammar, punctuation, and style.
Expand Vocabulary: Learners will build their vocabulary through reading exercises and contextual usage, enhancing their ability to express ideas clearly and effectively.

I have a Master of Education and extensive experience in teaching and supporting learners of various ages. I have worked in both formal and informal educational settings, including after-school care coordination, where I developed tailored lesson plans to meet individual learning needs. My experience also includes supporting students with unique learning needs, such as ADHD, Dyslexia, and ASD, ensuring that lessons are accessible and engaging for all learners.
I have worked with children and young adults for over 10 years, including in school-based environments and community outreach programs, where I focused on language development and building literacy skills. My teaching style emphasises patience, clear communication, and the use of interactive, student-centred methods to foster confidence and skill development in English.
