1. Students will learn about the properties of light, including its speed, and propagation in different mediums. 2. Students will be able to explain the phenomena of reflection and refraction, including the laws governing these processes and how they affect the path of light rays. 3. Students will gain knowledge of various optical instruments such as mirrors, lenses, and prisms, and understand their functions and applications in everyday life. 4. Students will learn how images are formed by mirrors and lenses, including the characteristics of different types of images (real, virtual, upright, inverted) and their properties (size, orientation, magnification).
