Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
I bring a unique blend of practical experience and training to teaching the topic of buying and taking care of your first car. As a current car owner with a history of owning over 10 cars since the age of 15, I have firsthand knowledge of the car ownership journey, including budgeting, researching, and maintaining vehicles. I acquired practical car maintenance skills through formal education, including a high school car maintenance class, and through personal experience maintaining my own vehicles. This includes performing tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and basic repairs. I'm also currently training as a special education teacher, giving me experience in creating accessible and engaging learning experiences tailored to diverse learner needs. This combination of hands-on experience as a car owner and maintenance practitioner, coupled with formal training in education, equips me to effectively teach students about the practical aspects of car ownership and maintenance.
