Class Experience

This club is for all car enthusiasts! In a fun and relaxed atmosphere we’ll discuss automotive current events, car culture, basic repairs/maintenance and more!

Each meeting we will:

- Look at/discuss an automotive news headline.
- Review an automotive vocabulary term of the day.
- Discuss an automotive question of the day. Example: “Driverless cars: love them or hate them?”
- Explore a car/make/model of the week.
- Share any recent car-related sightings/personal discoveries/activities. Example: “Yesterday my family was driving behind a mint-condition 1960’s Mustang. It was cool-looking but I prefer the tail lights on modern Mustangs.”

At the end of each meeting I will share with families a customized PDF with links to family-friendly articles, videos, etc., allowing students to dig deeper into our automotive topics of the week.

Upcoming weekly topics:

- Nov 10-16……… Saab 96
- Nov 17-23……… Lotus Esprit
- Nov 24-30………	BMW Classic 02 Series
- Dec 1-7…………	Bugatti Chiron

My house is full of car enthusiasts! I’m the proud owner of a 2010 Mustang. Our household also owns two Hyundai Velosters, a 2001 Crown Victoria with side pipes, and a 1990 Miata (my son and I have worked on the Miata’s brakes, transmission, and even successfully performed a driveway replacement of the timing belt after the original belt snapped on the road). Not only do my sons and I attend local car meets, two of my sons now run their own car group with members driving everything from a 2023 Supra to a 1995 Civic sporting a rattle can paint job.
