Teacher expertise and credentials
Frame Change Tutoring - Virtually social emotional skills teacher for middle school students grades 6-8 before leading a tutoring program and becoming Tutor Operations Manager. Prior to that, I taught at Blair Elementary School for 2 years, grades K-4, teaching special education in North Carolina. This includes all core academic subjects, along with identify behavioral, intellectual, and behavioral needs. Connecting their learning dynamic with academic needs encourages students to engage whole heartedly. I have also taught at Eugene Ashley High School in Wilmington, North Carolina, teaching students with special needs grades 9-12. I would help teach them the social and recreational skills necessary to live an independent life and utilize them their best abilities for 6 years.
