This class is for students with no previous piano lesson but they are ages 8 to 11. Class time will be spread out between introducing students to basic fundamental music theory concepts at the beginner level, learning songs that apply the concepts, and techniques. I send a message to the classroom portal with the pages to practice for homework. I assign music theory outside of class. Practice at home is essential for student's growth. Making a practice schedule that ties into other responsiblities is helpful.
