Telling time is essential to learn! This class is designed to help students continue to learn how to tell time on an analog and digital clock. The class will be very interactive with discussions as well as hands-on learning with a self-made clock for them to practice on. Students should expect to be busy and ready to learn! This is part 2 of a 3-part series. Students will understand the correct terminology with telling time as well as the different verbiage we use to express the time. (o'clock, a quarter of, half past, thirty) We will see examples of all the vocabulary as well as practice with all the different examples of the vocabulary. There will be several slides with telling on the hour, on the half-hour, a quarter past, a quarter to, and by 5's. We will see a short video to help more visual learners. We will use the vocabulary and practice for the learners that need the support auditorially. I will challenge them and adapt as well if needed to make sure they are having fun and learning at the same time! I am a teacher of over 20 years and I love to see students learn and 'get it'! I hope to see you in the classroom!
