Class Experience

In this ongoing course, students will meet once each week to learn effective ways to ask and answer questions in Tagalog. Although not necessary, I recommend that students take my Tagalog introductory classes before taking this course. This course will not go over alphabet and numbers unless it is a part of the lesson outline.

There will be simple to complex questions to give students a variety of examples. Dialogues will cover different types of situations to practice asking and telling sentences. Students will practice situational dialogues with me and the rest of the class. They will be encouraged to speak Tagalog using the provided target sentences. This course is designed for students who are open to learning, speaking, and understanding Tagalog.

Students will be given a handout/worksheet for extra practice at home. Activities will be provided to encourage participation and support the students' knowledge of the subject matter. The slides and useful graphics I prepare for my classes will help students gain more understanding of the target vocabulary and overall concept of each lesson. We will go over new concepts each month with lots of examples and new vocabulary each day.
