I was born and raised in the Philippines, a dual-language country where we speak both Tagalog and English from a young age. Although I grew up in the Greater Metro Manila area, I also learned to speak Bisaya at an early age. I believe that being exposed to different languages and dialects helped me retain these skills as I grew up. Being bilingual has provided me with many opportunities in life. This skill has enhanced my cross-cultural communication and cultural awareness.
