Let's Practice Yoga
During this class, students will learn how to begin a yoga practice. We will learn basic poses, how to enter and exit the poses safely, basic anatomical alignment, and breathing techniques.

In this class, students will learn foundational poses for a beginning yoga practice. Students will have the opportunity to listen to instruction, participate in the poses, and ask questions before and after class. This class will begin with greetings, a warm-up, the yoga sequence, breathing exercises, and quiet meditation. As the teacher, students will receive clear instructions, guided practice, demonstration, and a positive environment to begin a steady yoga practice. No previous experience is required.

Parental Guidance
During yoga class, students will need a quiet and open space, a yoga mat, any additional yoga props such as blocks, belts, blankets or bolsters. No water is necessary during class, please drink water before class. No shoes or socks are necessary during class. Slow and gentle movement will ensure no injuries will occur during the class. No food during class. Please have eaten no later than two hours before class.
