In this ongoing course, learners will prepare for the Trinity GESE exam at Grades 1 and 2. This is a class focusing on speaking and listening at Pre-A1 and A1 Level. GESE exams are one-to-one, face-to-face assessments of English language speaking and listening skills with a Trinity examiner, who encourages the candidate to show what they can do through prompts and authentic interactive dialogue. The exam length is 5-25 minutes depending on the grade. This course has been created by a previous Trinity GESE Examiner to help learners succeed in their exam. What will be covered in the course? Week of 10/3/25 - My Family Week of 17/3/25 - Friends Week of 24/3/25 - My Life Week of 31/3/25 - Days and Months Week of 7/4/25 - Where is it? Week of 14/4/25 - Greetings Week of 21/4/25 - Giving information about myself Week of 28/4/25 - Counting numbers 1-20 Week of 5/5/2025 - In the Classroom Week of 12/5/2025 - Talking about Belongings Week of 19/5/2025 - Talking about Clothes Week of 26/5/2025 - Describing where I live Week of 2/6/2025 - The Body Week of 9/6/2025 - Farm Animals Week of 16/6/2025 - Talking about Colours Classes will repeat. This is an ongoing course so you can join at any point. Classes will come with activity sheets to reinforce learning. Some activities will be completed in class. Some will be completed after class.
