In this ongoing course, learners will prepare for the Trinity GESE exam at Grades 1 and 2. This is a class focusing on speaking and listening at Pre-A1 and A1 Level. GESE exams are one-to-one, face-to-face assessments of English language speaking and listening skills with a Trinity examiner, who encourages the candidate to show what they can do through prompts and authentic interactive dialogue. The exam length is 5-25 minutes depending on the grade. This course has been created by a previous Trinity GESE Examiner to help learners succeed in their exam. What will be covered in the course? Week of 16/9/24 - Greetings Week of 23/9/24 - Giving information about myself Week of 30/9/24 - Counting numbers 1-20 Week of 7/10/24 - In the Classroom Week of 14/10/24 - Talking about Belongings Week of 21/10/24 - Talking about Clothes Week of 28/10/24 - Describing where I live Week of 4/11/24 - The Body Week of 11/11/24 - Farm Animals Week of 18/11/24 - Talking about Colours Week of 25/11/24 - My Family Week of 2/12/24 - Friends Week of 9/12/24 - My Life Week of 16/12/24 - Days and Months Week of 23/12/24 - Where is it? Classes will repeat. This is an ongoing course so you can join at any point. Classes will come with activity sheets to reinforce learning. Some activities will be completed in class. Some will be completed after class. All activity sheets will be posted to the classroom at 7pm PST on Sunday each week. Please let us know if you have any queries.
