In this engaging class students will learn all the popular braids over a 4 week session. I will begin each lesson showing examples of the braid they will learn. Then, I will verbally explain how to do the braid and the method of how the hair weaves for that particular braid. Following this I will show how to do the braid in a slow step-by-step manner. During this time I show my hands from different direction so my students can see from all angles. I take care to show exactly how to hold each strand of hair and transfer it to the other hand in all 4 different braids. Our schedule will be as follows:

Week 1: Fishtail braid
Students will learn how to do a classic fishtail braid. They will then be shown how we can use creativity to do them in different directions to create unique looks with this type of braid. 

Week 2: Dutch and French braids
Students will first learn how to do a Dutch braid then a French braid. They will see ways they can transform this into a double Dutch or French braid as well as how we can make it into the “space bun” style. 

Week 3: Waterfall braid
This beautiful, formal braid will be taught this week. Week two is very challenging, therefore this week student will work on a very easy braid that looks elegant and professional. 

Week 4: Rope braids and updos
During this week students will be shown how to do rope braids to incorporate into gorgeous special occasion hair so that they can do fancy, professional hair for any occasion.
