In this ongoing course, learners will explore a range of Science subjects in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers. Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include experiments, Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, videos and much more. Learners will be encouraged to observe, explore, question and share what they learn. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater for different learning styles and needs. What is taught in this course? Week of 21/4/2025 – Why do we see our breath in cold weather? Week of 28/4/2025 – Why do magnets stick to some metals? Week of 5/5/2025 – Why do birds fly south in the winter? Week of 12/5/2025 – Why do we need sleep? Week of 19/5/2025 – Why do fish have gills instead of lungs? Week of 26/5/2025 – Why do some planets have rings?

Supply List
There will be an activity sheet to download or print each week. There may also be some household items needed for experiments. Learners need to bring a notebook, pen, pencil and crayons to each class.
