Whether you are using lego characters or character of another sort, I will show you how to bring your animation game to the next level through using the masking tool, adding faces and lip syncing your audio as well as how to use the green/blue screen and make your world feel like a full 360 degree world, all within the Stop Motion Studio Pro App. The first half of the class will be centered around building our knowledge of these techniques and now to use the Stop Motion...
- Understand the fundamentals behind "Masking" to erase particular parts of your scene to create the illusion of things levitating. - Create background frames to support the Masking technique. - Develop a deeper understanding of post production editing. - Better understand how to use the drawing tool to apply shadows in our videos.
1 file available upon enrollmentWe will be using the application Stop Motion Studio Pro that can be purchased for $4.99 in your mobile device's App Store, but your student may use any program that they are familiar with using for stop motion. Please ensure that your student's device and program are both functioning prior to class starting. Please have your student bring at least one toy or figurine that they would like to have come alive as well as any props they would like to include. The remote shutter control is entirely optional but the stand for your device should be required to properly perform the techniques in this lesson.
