Let’s Become a Vet: Beginners Guide for Future Veterinarians

In this class we will explore and learn how to become a vet. Students will learn some basic information about this career and have fun taking care of their own toy pet through imaginative play. This is an interactive, discussion based class. I encourage students to participate and raise their hand throughout the class. It is great for Pre-K and Kindergarten students.

Class Experience

In this one time class we will explore and learn how to become a vet. Students will learn some basic information about this career, explore different animals, have engaging discussions, and participate in their own veterinarian experience through imaginative play. 

1. We will begin by introducing ourselves 
2. We will discuss "What is a vet?" and "What are our favorite animals?" I will encourage students to participate and have fun conversations with the class. During this discussion time...

Students will learn some basic information about vets.
Students will learn how to discuss and describe different animals.
Students will practice their conversational skills with the teacher and other students.
Students will learn and identify vet tools.
Students will describe what an animal looks like, how an animal feels, and how the vet can help the animal get better.
