Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 2
In this Ongoing class, students will explore how veterinarians could use Math in their jobs. The teacher and students will explore an idea such as weighing an animal or charging the clients for the services performed by the vet. They will discuss how the vets may perform the task using Math while exploring example situations created by the teacher and students. Students should know their numbers to one thousand as well as have an understanding of addition and subtraction. Students who have a strong foundation with their numbers to one thousand and a strong understanding of addition and subtraction could do well in this class. Let's have fun exploring how vets could use Math in their jobs!
