Class Experience

Students will learn to make a stop motion movie.
I have worked in movies as an actress, casting director, producer, and publicist. Movies I have made in collaboration with my family have won numerous awards and played in festivals around the world. I studied film editing at the International Center of Photography.
Students can continue filming outside of class time. They can also work on the planning of their movie, including a script, storyboard, or crafting props.
* A phone, tablet or desktop computer that can enable the camera for taking photos * Stop Motion Studio Pro. I recommend the $5 paid version that provides access to green screen and sound * A tripod or stable surface: You can create your own tripod using household items too. * Any toys you want to star in your movie * Optional: Green/Blue Screen * Optional: If you are interested in filming with dolls, you can also buy the book I published, My Doll Journal & Filmmaking Notebook on Amazon -
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
5 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
