step 1) explain what we will be drawing step2) separate the warm and cool colors step 3) draw, outline, and color I will go step by step in a live zoom lesson where each child can ask questions throughout. I will explain coloring strategies to make their drawings stand out. We will apply cool and warm colors on a practice piece of paper to give them the freedom to choose where they want to place their colors on their own. I have a very encouraging approach to teaching and will make each child leave more "Cann"fident.
Learning Goals
I hope they will gain new knowledge on how to draw a cute jellyfish. I will teach them new skills while encouraging them to add their own artistic touches. They will be able to tell the difference between warm and cool colors and apply them to their ocean drawing. We will draw two jellyfish, seaweed, hearts, and bubbles. I look forward to meeting you!

I have been an art teacher in the public school system for 12 years. Growing up surrounded by art on my many travels, has lead me to obtain a life long passion for "Cann"ecting people to art. I have my BFA in studio art focusing on painting and my professional certification in art k-12. I have been in multiple gallery shows and sell my work around the country.
