Decorate your room or home with your beautiful lighted garland. Turn off the lights and enjoy!Class Experience
Students will have fun in this hands-on craft lesson. They will learn how to make their own beautiful flower string light garland from silk flowers and twinkle lights. Students will use organization skills and follow directions. Students will use scissors and a low temp glue gun to create their garland. Students will get to see slides with examples of different options to use for their project. Students will share their finished garland with the class. This class will be conducted as a fun group activity with lots of opportunity to interact, share, make friends and have fun! Invite a friend to take the same class and make new friends too!

Parental Guidance
Students will need to use scissors and a low temp glue gun. If parental guidance is needed for your student please be available.
Supply List
Please have all supplies together and ready to be used at the beginning of class. two small sized silk flower bunches (flowers aprox. 2-3" in diameter) (you will need the same number of flower heads as the bulbs on your string light.) one set of string lights low temp glue gun and a pack glue sticks pair of scissors floral tape (optional)

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
I believe I have a LOT to bring to the classroom and I’m EXCITED to begin on this journey in learning with you! I hope to see YOU in my classroom soon!
