US Grade 6 - 12
Beginner - Advanced Level
In these one-on-one sessions, I will be responsive to the individual needs of learners, whether they are pursuing Latin on their own, or in a brick-and-mortar school. In our first meeting, I will gauge the areas we need to work on, and come up with an individual learning plan. In subsequent meetings, we will go through that plan slowly, being sure to stay up to date on class material, if relevant. My teaching style if Socratic: while I don't expect mastery from any student, I do expect a general willingness to engage in a series of questions and answers. I have found that this is both the best way to learn, and the best way to retain material. This course is appropriate for Latin students at any level, whether they are already in a Latin course, or whether they simply want to learn Latin for fun. If a student if looking to take Latin for fun, I will determine an appropriate text book based on a consultation with both student and parent.
Learning Goals
