In this multi-day online course students will continue to learn the Latin language and the fascinating culture of the Classical world starting from where the previous course "Beginner's Latin - Unit 1 ended.
Class Experience
MATERIALS: This class will use Google docs, Nearpod.com, Magistrula and Gimkit to manage assignments and practice exercises. It will also use “Nearpod” for live classes which encourages student engagement and interaction. This will require students to “join” each live class through a Nearpod code so that they can interact with the slides by answering questions, filling in blanks, and drawing. I love Latin and the Greco-Roman world. I also have many years of experience teaching Latin to a range of ages and skills levels online and in a traditional classroom. I believe that learning should be a fun and engaging journey!

Homework
Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: There will be homework. All homework will be available in the Outschool Classroom. Homework will consist of reading the textbook, completing the Google Classroom assignments, memorization of noun and verb endings and vocabulary, and an end of course project. SOME homework is REQUIRED. Other homework is assigned as practice, which I strongly suggest the student completes. Students will turn their completed homework into their own Google Drive homework folder, which is where they will get feedback on it as well.Assessment

Students must have completed Cambridge Latin Unit 1 before enrolling in this course or an equivalent. Feel free to message me with any questions.
The required material for this course is the student edition of the textbook "Cambridge Latin Course Unit 2, 5th edition". It is about $29 New on Amazon. Used is OK. But, it needs to be the 5th edition.
