Kindness Matters: Listen to Stories, Sing, Trace Words & Color

Please print the pdf file under the welcome comment in the classroom so your child can write and color with us. I will begin the class by singing a Hello song, greet the students, and teach them the Hello song I use at the beginning of all my classes. I will read the book "Just Be Nice" by Walt Disney Productions and then I will teach the students a song about kindness. The students will then trace the words “just”, “be”, and “nice”. While the students are coloring the worksheet, I will read them the “Kindness Starts With You” story by Jaquelyn Stagg. At the end of class, we will sing the kindness song again, before I teach them a goodbye song that I use at the end of each class. During this class, your child will be encouraged to sing along and talk about ways they can be kind to others. I look forward to seeing your child in this class!
