US Grade Kindergarten - 1
In this ongoing Math class, students will review and practice different math skills such as addition and subtraction. Students will observe the teacher demonstrating how to solve problems, work on problems with the teacher as well as independently. Students should have a strong understanding of numbers to the hundreds place as well as know how to add and subtract numbers to the hundreds place. The class will consist of two parts, lesson, and self-assessment. New topics will continue to be added. Topics to be covered: Week of 11/13- Review Adding one-digit numbers Week of 11/20- Review Adding two-digit numbers Week of 11/27- Review Subtracting one-digit numbers Week of 12/4- Review Subtracting two-digit numbers Week of 12/11- Halves, fourths, and quarters

Hello everyone! Welcome to Outschool!
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you! I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too. I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online. When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person. My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups. I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License. I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also. My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways. I love to have fun while learning! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.
