In this four-week course, students will learn about the causes and main events of the first World War.
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 5
This introductory level class will provide students with a basic knowledge of the first World War. The class will discuss the causes of the first World War, the influential leaders throughout the conflict, the main military battles of the war, and the economic and social ramifications of the war. Class will meet for four weeks, and each weekly topic will be as follows:
Week 1: Setting the Stage for World War
Week 2: The War Begins: Significant Battles of 1914 & 1915
-World...Students will gain a basic knowledge of World War I, the major battles of the conflict, the people who led the world in the early 20th century, and how World War I can be tied to World War II.
