This four week course will provide students with a basic introduction to World War II.
Class experience
US Grade 1 - 4
This class is intended to be a basic introduction to World War II. This class will cover the causes of World War II, important military battles from both the Eastern and Western front, and the end of the war. The discussion of the end of the war will look at both the end of the war in Europe, as well as the end of the war in the Pacific. Students will gain basic knowledge on the causes and military events of World War II.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Some war footage will be shown via video clips to students. Care will be taken to avoid any particularly gruesome footage, but there will be scenes from World war II shown to students including the Pearl Harbor attack, and the aftermath of the atomic bombs.
