I have been a serious student of the Civil War for years. I own and have studied multiple primary and secondary sources on the war, along with maps and field guides. I have visited the Gettysburg National Park over dozens of times, and also other battlefields of the war. I have taken part in multiple Ranger tours, and attended lectures given by some of the most highly regarded scholars on the Civil War.
