Beginner Level
This class is for beginner flute players. Learning the flute can be a challenging, and rewarding activity, but the most challenging part for most beginners is getting that first sound. This class will help students learn flute placement, mouth shape, air requirements, hand placement, posture, and the first few notes on flute. No experience needed. Student must have their own instrument to use in class. This course is for Western Classical Flute - the kind of flute played in a symphony orchestra or a band.
Flute Instructions to print and view handouts will be given during the first class
