🎵🎵🎵 ABOUT LESSONS 🎵🎵🎵 Welcome to a wonderful musical adventure! Join me for private, individualized instrument instruction on clarinet flute, or saxophone, in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Typically lessons include warm-ups (long tones, scales, articulation studies), and music from an appropriate method book. Watch as your child's progress soars with weekly assignments tailored to their growth. While we follow a typical course of study, rest assured that lessons can be highly customized to cater to your child's unique needs. If your child needs help with a specific piece of music, kindly scan it for me ahead of time. My teaching approach revolves around enhancing your child's overall knowledge and skillset, fostering independent mastery and remarkable skill. Remember, anyone can "practice" with your child, but our fundamentals-based approach cultivates true brilliance and leads to resounding success. With years of experience teaching clarinet, flute, and saxophone, I've witnessed countless students thrive through this approach. Get ready to embark on a sensational journey of musical accomplishment! 🎵🎵🎵 WHY MS. KATHERINE? 🎵🎵🎵 • I've been teaching music for over twenty years to students of all ages (5-90), levels, and exceptionalities. • I have two bachelor's degrees in music (Instrumental Music Education, Clarinet Performance) and a master's degree in Educational Technology. • I specialize in assisting your child to reach their fullest potential on the instrument. • I'm a professional multi-instrumentalist in flute, clarinet, and saxophone. I play all three of these instruments professionally. I do nothing else but play these instruments. I've studied and continue to study these instruments that I've been playing for 25 years. • I believe everyone has the ability to succeed at learning music. I am a highly energetic, thorough, and knowledgeable teacher. Music is an essential part of being human. My classroom is a safe learning environment where all students gain confidence through learning music. 🎵🎵🎵 NOTES 🎵🎵🎵 1. While a weekly half-hour lesson is appropriate for most students, I also offer 45-minute and hour-long lessons. Please send me a message if you are questioning the lesson length that is appropriate for your learner. I also have a multi-day version of this class. 2. My private students are invited to participate in virtual recitals. See "Clarinet, Flute, and Saxophone Studio Recital for Students of Ms. Katherine." 🎵🎵🎵 CANCELLATION POLICY 🎵🎵🎵 This class is set-up as an ongoing class.
