I have 20+ years experience, as a music teacher. I have taught piano, electric keyboard, guitar, and general music classes, in both the classroom and private settings.
I have been a teacher on outschool since May 2020.
I was head of the music department at a private high school in Maryland.
I taught private piano and guitar lessons at a guitar shop, for 5 years, in addition to my own private students in my studio.
I have a bachelor's degree in music education, from Towson University, plus graduate studies in music education.

I will post practice materials, in the outschool classroom , between each class meeting.
I recommend a minimum of 15 minutes of practice 3 times per week.
Piano or electric keyboard. Removable Labels for piano keys.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Informal assessment and communication with the student, as they go along.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Your piano keys need to be labelled. You can buy the labelling stickers on Amazon , or you can create your own labels, with masking tape and an ink pen.
I will post a diagram , and instructions, in the outschool classroom. You will be able to access them once you enroll in this class.
