In this one-time class, students will learn and practice how to sign the colors using American Sign Language, ASL. Colors: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, white, and gray. Beginner.
Class experience
Through conversation, personal examples, games, and images, students will learn the American Sign Language for the following colors: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, white, gray, brown. *Students may be asked to stand or step back from the camera in order to see the full movement. Students will learn the American Sign Language for the following colors: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, white, gray, brown.
I enjoy teaching children of all ages, but usually colors are taught to little kids. I want to give the older students an opportunity to learn colors in Sign Language as well. I have fond memories of taking Sign Language camps as a child and even learning a few songs for performances. I love learning the basics, such as colors, in multiple languages such as: Spanish, Hebrew, and even in coding. I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge of colors in ASL to your students!
