Class Experience

Learners will build upon their knowledge of Japanese and learn additional phrases, Japanese numbers and a few of the different ways they are used (i.e. money, counting people, counting items), how to ask for help or get assistance, points of interest in Japanese history and culture, and an introduction to Kanji.
I majored in Asian Studies in college and specialized in Japanese. I studied the language and culture for all four years of my bachelor’s degree and was the official tutor for Japanese for my college. I studied abroad in Japan in 2018, and I have since tutored Japanese online and been a personal teacher for students in Japanese.
No homework will be assigned, but learners are strongly encouraged to practice what they learned between classes to assist with retention and comprehension
Students will need paper and something to write with each class period.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
