In this online course, students will be taught a multisensory approach to improve their reading and phonics skills. This course is individualized to help meet learner needs.
Class Experience
This class offers a multisensory approach to improving a learner's reading skills. In the first class, students are assessed on phoneme sounds, spelling sounds, blending sounds together, and sight words. The assessment is to help then design a learner's individualized needs which can then be met in the classes that follow. - Students will know and apply phonics and word analysis skills to accurately decode words.
- Students will read with sufficient accuracy and fluency to support comprehension.
This class is designed specifically for learners with dyslexia or struggle with their reading skills.
