**Join by May 31st and receive $15 off** This is the second of 4 sessions for year-long French content instruction, but offered bi-weekly over 5 weeks. Each class there will be a different French topic or grammar concept covered permitting new French speakers to continue with new material every week. Week 1Lesson 1Parts of the House/HomeThis lesson will teach learners the different parts of a house or homeLesson 2AnimalsMy lesson is about animals and how to say them in FrenchWeek 2Lesson 3Countries around the world and Colours in FrenchThis lesson will teach learners how to say some key countries, provinces and states along with learning the colours in French to describe their favourite flags.Lesson 4French adjectives and understanding accentsThis lesson will teach learners how to use adjectives in French along with the agreement necessary. The bonus lesson is how to use accents in French and the different sounds they make.Week 3Lesson 5The seasons & weatherMy lesson is about the seasons and weather and how to express the weather conditions in French. Learners will be given the opportunity to complete and interactive activity to describe the weather where they live.Lesson 6How to construct a sentence - parts 1 & 2My lesson is about How to construct a sentence in French. This lesson is a review from Immersive French 1 and a continuation with part 2 added for Immersive French 2 learners.Week 4Lesson 7Clothing in FrenchThis lesson will teach learners how to say key clothing items in French and incorporating colours and numbers from previous lessons they've learned to best express themselves and what they are wearing.Lesson 8Food and MealsThis lesson will teach learners some essential food items in French along with the corresponding meals.Week 5Lesson 9Questions and Food with Restaurant activityThis lesson will teach learners the different ways that we can ask questions in French in particular as it relates to food perhaps in a restaurant setting. The bonus activity is practice using the interactive script at a restaurant.Lesson 10The past tense (passé composé) in FrenchThis lesson will begin to teach learners how construct and use a form of past tense in French - passé composé.
Students will learn some of the basics of French to build knowledge to use actively in sentences and reading with regular, active class participation and weekly homework.
Homework Offered
Homework will be to watch the lesson videos approximately 2 per week prior to the LIVE class and prepare for class with completed homework as assisgned1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
