Description
Class Experience
In this ongoing class, students will have a fun, engaging introduction to the French language. This is similar to an American 'circle time' but in French. Each class will have a manipulative to keep the learner engaged. We will also sing songs, speak to each other, and engage in natural conversations in the target language each class. The teacher will use a slide show, manipulatives, songs and TPR while instructing the class. There is no prior French required and each class is different, pop...
Students will learn how to speak and engage in natural conversation in French. Students will learn to sing the ABC's in French. Students will learn to count from 1-20 in French. Students will describe their family in French. Students will describe themselves in French. Students will be able to say the month and the day of the week, weather, and seasons in French.
Bonjour! I am a licensed French teacher for grades preK-12 in the state of Virginia. I have over 10 years teaching experience in the public school setting and over 3 years teaching experience online for both ESL and French. I have lived in Aix-en-Provence France where I taught ESL in an elementary. I am very passionate about both teaching and the French language. I am an energetic and engaging teacher. Students will receive a weekly review documents to study in between classes each week.
