Using the first three novels of The Chronicles of Narnia, students will experience the enchanted land of Narnia through the Structure and Style writing method. Through their writing and discussion, students will engage in a variety of topics, many focused on World War II.

Students must read assigned chapters before class. The novels are a crucial part of the class. Writing assignments are dependent on assigned reading.

Students will have the opportunity to discuss the story in class and through collaboration boards.

Students should be able to read at a sixth-grade level or higher.

Students should understand the eight parts of speech in English Grammar.

Students will have homework to turn in. Students must be able to type their assignments using the MLA format.

I will edit turned-in assignments and give feedback to learners.

Learners must complete assigned homework. This includes completing keyword outlines, writing essays that we discuss in class, and reading assigned chapters in the Narnia books.
