We will use role-play, flashcards, and casual conversation to learn how to detect other people's emotions. We will also talk about why it's important to understand how someone might be feeling based on their visual cues and how we might respond. I use an interactive and student-lead teaching strategy. I am always prepared to pivot to meet the needs of my students.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to identify if a person is mad, sad, happy, or scared based on their visual cues.
Students will use critical thinking skills to determine how to respond to the emotions of others.
