Beginner Level
This one-time intensive course provides a foundational overview of criminal profiling and forensic psychology, offering insight into the psychological principles behind criminal behavior and investigative techniques. Participants will explore key topics such as offender profiling, behavioral analysis, the psychology of violent crime, and the role of forensic psychologists in the criminal justice system. Through real-world case studies and interactive discussion, students will gain an understanding of how psychological assessments aid law enforcement in identifying and apprehending offenders. Key Topics Covered: Fundamentals of forensic psychology Theories of criminal behavior Psychological profiling techniques Crime scene analysis and behavioral patterns Case studies of serial offenders and violent crimes
