Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the structure of writing an Opinion Essay. They will practice using transition words, conjunctions in compound sentences, and linking words. These are all crucial learning targets in the national standards for 3rd grade.
It will be beneficial to the student if they spent time on their writing piece after class. I recommend spending an extra 30 minutes working on their essay.
pencil eraser paper (at least 5 sheets) printed or reproduced graphic organizer and anchor charts that are provided digitally
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
The teacher will post a graphic organizer and anchor chart that should be printed or reproduced at home.
