This class will focus on giving the learners a basic understanding of How a House Is Built. I will include information about the planning, professionals, trades, and materials used to complete a successful house build. Using photos and illustrations I will take the students through a real life example of a successful house build. The goal is not to make them builders overnight but to expose them to new ideas, vocabulary and career possibilities. I will also provide a vocabulary sheet available for download that will allow them to review all the new words used in the content the class. I plan to engage learners with questions/discussion during the heart of the class and will follow up with more review questions at the end of class.
