Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, I'm Ms. Michelle!
I am eagerly looking forward to connecting with fellow parents and students to foster creativity and ignite a love for learning in all our lives.
As a homeschool mom to two brilliant boys, I've had the joy of witnessing their boundless imagination and creativity. They adore playing with LEGOs, sculpting with Play-Doh, drawing, and dancing. From their very first steps, I've been actively nurturing their emotional intelligence, love for learning, and creative spirit.
Over the past year, I've organized a local day camp for children aged 4-8, where I've shared delightful storytimes, led engaging crafts, and orchestrated activities inspired by literature and nature. Additionally, I serve as a den leader for our local Cub Scouts pack, helping young minds grow and thrive.
Professionally, I earned a Magna Cum Laude Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from MTSU, where I was honored as the Senior of Broadcast Management for my graduating class. For over 11 years, I've been a dedicated digital marketer, and my passion for storytelling and creativity has led me to run one of the best content marketing blogs in the world, as recognized by the Content Marketing Institute.
My love for the arts and reading during my youth has shaped my career, forcing me to think outside the box and become a storyteller. Now, I'm dedicated to assisting children in exploring their artistic and creative interests, providing a safe space for them to experiment with ideas.
In my classes, your child won't be restricted by prompts or projects that yield identical results. Drawing from my own experiences, I know the importance of encouraging individuality. Your kids will have the freedom to unleash their creativity and create unique masterpieces, all while receiving unwavering support, a listening ear, and celebrations of their achievements.
Outside of teaching, I continue to indulge my creativity by working on blogs and books for my personal brand. I'm also passionate about the outdoors, tending to our garden, chickens, and rabbits. My love for travel has allowed me to explore various cultures and savor new cuisines, with Scotland holding a special place in my heart as my favorite destination.
Let's embark on this exciting journey of discovery, creativity, and learning together!
