In this 8 week class, the students will be introduced to 32 common Greek and Latin roots. We will learn the root, where it came from, and illustrate the root for better retentionn and use words with the roots in sentences.

In this 8 week class, students will be learning approximately 32 Greek and Latin Roots. Roots are word parts that have meaning, They are the building blocks for many English words. Knowing Greek and Latin Roots helps strengthen our vocabulary and can help us figure out the meanings of unfamiliar words in our reading.
