This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice vocabulary concepts typically taught in fifth grade, specifically in regards to Greek and Latin Roots. Learners will be given guided practice opportunities to sort and match words by roots, as well as to use roots to determine word meanings. The sequence of the concepts that will be covered is listed below.

Day One: Sorting words by shared Greek or Latin roots, and using roots as clues to word meanings.
Day Two: Determining meanings of Greek and Latin roots
