Grammar Crammers!

My name is Ms. Knox, and I teach 4-6 year olds about all those "BIG" kid fundementals they'll need to succeed in 'BIG" kids school.  I have over 15 years (and over 200 students) of Pre K teaching expeirence and I also have a degree in secondary English Education.  This is such a fun period of exponential learning for this age. Watching my students discover and learn all about their ABCs, colors, shapes, numbers, calendar skills, and even to read a few words brings me such a sense joy and fulfillment that isn't found anywhere else.  I believe learning can bring confidence, pride, and self esteem to young kids that they can carry with them as they head off to school, whatever that may look like for them, feeling ready to tackle whatever is next on their learning journey. As an English teacher, one of my favorite things to teach is basic grammar and sentence structure. These structures have always been a fun topic for me to both learn and teach.  Even though I have spent most of my time teaching Pre K, I still have a passion for fundamentals of the parts of speech and how they work together to form sharable thoughts and meaninful communications.
My husband, two kids, and I just moved to beautiful Colorado from Texas.  We love the snow, fresh air and all things winter!  I can't wait to meet you in class!
