This class is perfect for learners ready to take fractions to the next level no matter where you are, homeschool, public school, or private school. In this 11-week course (with 2 sessions per week), students will learn how to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers. Students will engage weekly in interactive learning using tools such as food and Kahoot! and be evaluated by assignments and online assessments at the end of the course to help parents determine learning outcomes. These evaluations are done via Google Forms and if grades are desired, uploaded to Google Classroom. Here is a breakdown of the sessions so you know what to expect. 1. Fractions and Division 2. Simplifying Mixed Numbers 8. Comparing and Ordering Fractions 9. Changing Fractions to Decimals 10. Changing Decimals to Fractions 11. Review & Test 12. Adding & Subtracting Fractions with Like Denominators 13. Adding & Subtracting Fractions Unlike Denominators 14. Adding Mixed Numbers 15. Subtracting Mixed Numbers 16. Review & Test 17. Multiplying Fractions Using Models & Multiplying Fractions Using Rules 18. Multiplying Mixed Numbers 19. Dividing Fractions by Whole Numbers Using Models 20. Dividing Fractions by Whole Numbers Using Rules 21. Dividing Whole Numbers by Fractions 22. Review & Test This course is part 4 of 7 of my Upper Elementary Math Series for learners in grades 3, 4, and 5. They do not need to be completed in order.
