Hello Learners! 

In this fun, fast-paced one-time class, students will get a complete introduction to the game of Go, one of the oldest and most elegant strategy games in the world. Perfect for curious minds who love logic and games like chess, this class will cover the basic rules, goal of the game, and how to play a mini match. 

By the end of the class, students will be able to play Go on a 9x9 board, understand how to capture stones, and begin thinking strategically. We’ll use simple visuals, guided demos, and live practice to make learning easy and fun!

Here is the structure of the class: 

Introduction (5 mins)
- Get to know one another
- What is Go?

Basic Rules (15 mins)
- Placing stones, turns, liberties, capturing
- Goal of the game (territory vs. captures)

Try it out! (10 mins)
- Practice placing stones and simple captures 
- Introduce some advanced rules like ko and concepts like the eyes

Mini Game Time! (20 mins)
- Learners pair off (or play with teacher) to play a short 9x9 game

Wrap-up & Q&A (5 mins)
- Tips for getting better, where to play Go online, and fun next steps
