This is a small, private class where children learn sight words, manipulate words to make sentences; learn numbers and simple subtraction, addition, and multiplication; learn how to read charts, and use different strategies.

US Grade Preschool - 1
This class meets two times a week and is a 30 minute private class is for students who have mastered saying the letters of the alphabet, identifying the sounds of letters, and using letters to create words. In this class, we will be focusing on letter sounds, combining letters to make words, and combining words to create sentences. The teacher is certified to teach early childhood and elementary grade levels. The curriculum for this class follows the guidelines for teaching grades Prekindergarten, kindergarten, first, second, and some third grade essential skills and knowledge.
We will be using OutSchool Share Screen to access Google Slides. We at times, may also utilize OutSchool Whiteboard. Google Slides will be used to reinforce letter sounds, words, numbers and sentences. There will be no outside links embedded into the Google Slides and there will not be a need for students to have an account to Google or Google Slides. Students will need to have something to write with and something to write on.
